How can we influence humanity to arrive at the next evolutionary stage of mankind?
Inheritance
The human body is made up of many cells, and inside each cell is a nucleus containing DNA chromosomes.

The DNA found in your body is a combination of both of your parents' genes as well as a few random mutations of your own. DNA dictates the entire structure of the human . Genes are inherited, meaning they are passed down to offspring through reproduction. The female sex cell, the egg, and also the male sex cell, sperm, only contain one set of chromosomes of each parent's DNA. These two sets of DNA collate their information and combine to form one strip of new DNA.

The new set of chromosomes that is formed is a combination of both the father and mother's DNA as well as some random mutations of your own. These mutations cause you two create some of your own traits that are completely individual to you. Mutations occur when a gene changes form suddenly. Because off the sudden alteration some genes will not form a combination of your parents DNA but instead will form a completely new gene. Genetic traits differ from family to family or even from race to race because of a slightly different genetic makeup from one other.

As illustrated, chromosomes include genes which include all the information that determines every possible characteristic of an organism.
